Jörgen Bödmar Svensk Digital Handel, SDh appointed new EMOTA President
At EMOTA’s annual spring meetings in Barcelona in March 2014 Jörgen Bödmar took over the presidency of EMOTA for the three years to come. He is succeeding Walter Devenuto who has chaired the association since 2011. Jörgen is the founder and CEO of Scandinavian Design Center, an e-commerce company that markets and sells Scandinavian design home interior products to 70 countries worldwide. EMOTA’s Board member Yiannis Kourniotis, Founder and CEO of Telemarketing, was elected Vice-President.

EMOTA represents approximately 80 % of eCommerce in Europe. EMOTA focus on Public Affairs, Industry Research and Trust online. The organization works as an umbrella organization and consists of the respective country entities in Europe as e.g. the German BVH and the Swedish SDh. E-commerce of the year 2011
Swedish Distance Sellers (SDh) handed out its prestigious www-awards in four different categories during the Swedish Distance Selling Day. The most prestigious one "The e-commerce of the year 2011" award was given to Scandinavian Design Center. (designonline.se is the Swedish site).
