Biography
Carina Ahlburg is a Swedish designer, educated at Royal College of Art Crafts and Design, Konstfack department of industrial design, Stockholm, Sweden.
She is both working as freelance designer and produce her own products.
For the Swedish company Design House Stockholm she has designed the Lightbow that has already become a classic.
Her production philosophy is to combine aesthetic values with usefulness and contextual meaning to create products that meet market needs.
She designed, for example, the very smart candlelight Rectangel after reading an article about fires caused by candlelights.
Her own collection also contains the Workbox for for sewing materials with a magnetic band for needles and room for rolls of thread etc. For the best possible storage it has the same size as a standard file.
