Biography
Camilla Diedrich, designer, born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.
Education: Konstfack (University College of Arts Crafts and Design), Master of Fine Arts 2000, and before that she attended various paintschools.
Camilla has got a lot of attention for her innovative textile design as, for example, the fabrics A.S.A.P, H.I.T and A.H.I.T for KvadratSanden.
She has received several awards for her BPL lamp with the threedimensional bubbly textile; "Excellent Swedish Design", "Young Swedish Form" and "Light Idea of the Year" by the Swedish design magazine Sköna Hem, where the comment of the jury were "Extraordinary poetic brightness!". The Italian company Rotaliana soon took over the production of the BPL lamp.
