Almedahls
The History of Almedahls started in Gothenburg in 1846. The businessman Hans H Wesslau got permission to establish a factory to make linen and damask. In 1919 a fusion of the two companies Almedahls and Dalsjöfors Wäfveri AB was made. It says that Dalsjöfors during a large period after the establishment was the most modern linen weaver company in the world. In 1919 the company was purchased by Almedahls in Gothenburg and is seated in Dalsjöfors since 1958.
