Olle Eksell
The artist Olle Eksell is one of Sweden’s most legendary designers. His illustrations range from geometric to imaginative, to the downright crazy and abstract. Here you will find posters with the iconic Cacao Ögon design that he designed for Mazetti in 1956.

As early as 14 years of age, Olle Eksell had made up his mind; he was to become an advertisement illustrator. After the completion of his degree in drawing and graphic design, Olle Eksell started working in Stockholm before moving to Los Angeles to study at the Art Center College.

Olle Eksell is said to be one of the first modern graphic designers of Sweden, and a creator and designer before his time. He worked together with a number of big brands, including Mazetti who for which he designed what was to become his most famous work; the Cacao Ögon illustration.
