The elegant Sääpäiväkirja platter was designed by Aino-Maija Metsola for Marimekko. Marimekko is known for giving their collections Finnish names that any non-Finn will definitely scramble to pronounce. However, when translated, they do shed some light onto where inspiration for the design was taken from. Sääpäiväkirja, for instance, means weather diaries, inspired by golden grass and misty archipelago mornings. A wonderful way to add some color to your table setting!
