With the perspective of a child, Lina Ekstrand has designed My First Swedish Grace for Rörstrand as a child friendly set. This mug just like the original Louise Adelboard's décor, designed during the 1930's, but now it has grown into a whole wheat field - full of wild plants, bugs and exciting fantasy animals! The idea of the design is that the children should be able to explore the wheat field and all its inhabitants while they are eating and drinking. The designer also wanted to create a durable tableware that matches what is already in the home. This mug is made of durable porcelain and comes in two different colours: Sunshine and Starlight, which symbolise daytime and night time. The mug is suitable for both hot and cold beverages and matches with the rest of the series to create a playful meal time for the youngsters!
