For nearly 300 years, Villeroy & Boch has produced exclusive porcelain for the dining table. This is the place where innovative design combines with tradition and solid craftsmanship.
The famous porcelain company Villeroy & Boch has a history dating back to 1748, when Francois Boch launched a pottery together with his three sons in the French Lorraine. A few years later, Nicolas Villeroy launched a similar activity in Germany. The two businessmen inevitably become competitors but in 1936 they decided to merge instead, hence the company Villeroy & Boch was born. This way they were able to combine both companies' creativity, entrepreneurship and production capacity, which proved to be a successful move.
Today, Villeroy & Boch is one of the world's leading porcelain manufacturers and has evolved into an international brand that is represented worldwide. They offer a large range of premium porcelain for all tastes - ranging from traditional dishes such as Old Luxembourg to modern porcelain series like New Wave. Still today, all porcelain is manufactured in Europe to ensure the absolute finest quality.
