Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, born 1955, is one of Swedens most well known and respected textile designers. She has designed fabrics and wallpapers for several Swedish companies; SANDEN textiles, NK, Ikea of Sweden, Handarbetets vänner and Svenskt Tenn.

Since 1997 Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg has been working with Kinnasand/SANDEN as designer of carpets and fabrics. Examples of her production are the fabrics named Tilde and Maria.
Nordic design has, by tradition, a good international reputation, and the work of Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg has attracted much attention all over the world. She has several times been awarded the prize Excellent Swedish Design (Utmärkt Svensk Form).
When the Swedish Magazine Sköna hem had its tenth anniversary in 1989, six young designers was awarded. They where all quit unknown by that time, but today all of them are top designers in Sweden, and well known all over the world. Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg was one of them, and the other five was Gunilla Allard, Matz Borgström, Thomas Sandell, Leo Thafvelin and Pia Wallén.
Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg is influenced by and gets much inspiration from the Swedish traditional Handicraft.
