Brita Sweden
Plastic rugs have been a staple in Scandinavian homes for many years. With exciting patterns and a daring colour palette, Brita Sweden breathes new life into the design of plastic rugs.

Plastic rugs have a long history in Sweden and have been produced since the 50’s, appreciated for their durability and versatility. Plastic rugs are a great choice for kitchens and hallways especially, as they are easy to clean and withstand a great deal more than a conventional woven rug made of other materials.

Brita Sweden has taken it upon itself to preserve the traditional weaving techniques and still produces all rugs in local weaving mills in Sweden where plastic rugs have been produced for generations. Brita Sweden uses qualitative materials and skilled craftsmen to produce timeless, durable design rugs.

Brita Sweden is to this day family run by Margaretha and her two daughters Pia Gabrielsson and Monica Harrie. All products are designed in-house with a great deal of inspiration taken from the great-grandmother Brita, who was the one to give her name to the brand.
