Paradisverkstaden
The Swedish company Paradisverkstaden is a ceramics centre, located on the island of Öland, Sweden. Th brand manufactures candles, candle dishes and other ceramic classics in their own studio. The family business, Paradisverkstaden was founded in 1975 by married couple Eva and Olof Paradis, who discovered a special design with soft, organic forms and budding patterns, dots and stripes, often taking inspiration from the nature found on the island. Olof was responsible for the pottery, whilst Eva painted the decorations. Today Paradisverkstaden is a well-known and renowned brand, which has enjoyed a Royal Warrant from the King of Sweden since 1986. The Paradis daughters, Hannah and Moa are also an important part of the business.

All unique products are made at Paradisverkstaden on Öland. They create, sculpt and paint each piece by hand. Some moulded products are hand made by talented craftsmen in Gdansk, Poland and all glassware is made in the studio on Öland. All products from Paradisverkstaden are completely handmade and are handled by craftsmen and women at least 27 times before the process is complete.
