About Retap

The Danish brand Retap has a goal and a mission; to create awareness and to get people to rethink water. With this idea at the very core of the brand, Retap manufactures glass alternatives to plastic bottles.

There’s no question that there are countless reasons to drink more water, and most of all, to drink water directly from the tap. Sourcing the water directly from your tap is an easy way to do something good for the environment. By doing so, you eliminate the transport of water bottles across the globe and reduce the demand for plastic water bottles.

The bottles are made of brosilicate glass that is light and easily recycled. The colorful corks are made of thermoplastic elastomers (also known as thermoplastic rubber) that are 100% free from BPA and phthalates. The Retap bottles, and the openings in particular, are carefully designed to create the best-possible drinking experience.
