Design Letters
With an iconic font by Arne Jacobsen and a simple idea, the Danish brand Design Letters has taken the design world by storm.

Design Letters was founded by the former journalist and copywriter Mette Thomsen. She always had a passion or fonts and letters, so the concept and idea for Design Letters came naturally to her.

The first product range included wooden letters to hang on the wall. Building on this, Design Letter’s big breakthrough came when Mette Thomsen attained the right to use the iconic 1937 font by the architect and designer, Arne Jacobsen.

With Design Letters, Mette Thomsen kick-started an immense interest for typographical design and continually expands the Design Letters assortment with new interior products. The brand has even been expanded with the sister-company “Design Letters & Friends” – a brand with clean, functional designs to match the Arne Jacobsen letters.
